We stayed at Hotel San Felipe for four nights and had a fantastic experience overall. The room was spacious, clean, and neatly maintained throughout the stay. I especially loved the balcony — it was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee. The bathroom was also spotless, featuring a large shower with consistently hot water and great water pressure. The bed was big and extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. The staff and cleaners were all very friendly and welcoming, which really added to the warm atmosphere of the place. Another highlight was the restaurant across the road, which is part of the hotel. It has a great rooftop area that we enjoyed in the evenings. The location is ideal — just a short walk to all the main restaurants and bars in Casco Viejo. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the heart of the action with comfort and great service.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly, really enjoyed speaking to them and getting to know Panamá and what it is like in Casco Viejo. The rooftop bar was very lovely, great view and the staff always greeted us with a smile. Our room was fantastic, very clean and the bed was comfortable and the balcony was a lovely area to sit and watch people go by. Thank you so much to the friendly and amazing staff for making our first visit to Panama incredible and for your recommendations.

I stayed in the old building and it was very lovely. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with whatever question I had and upgraded my room when I arrived. The room is quite large with the balcony, but quiet even though it faced the street. There’s no pool on the property, but we had no issue with that because we were there for a wedding and we’re not planning on hanging around the pool during our stay.

The area of Casco is quite loud at night but this hotel was somehow so quiet amidst all the madness. So if you want to be in the middle of all the fun, bars, restaurants, but want to sleep like a baby still - look no further! Will definitely stay here again when we return.
